1. Set up, adjust and optimize CNC milling and turning centres for production of precision jewellery components and fittings in precious metals and fine alloys.
2. Interpret technical drawings and CAD outputs to generate or refine CNC programs (G-code) and tooling plans suited to micro‑tolerances.
3. Select, dress and verify cutting tools and fixtures; determine feeds, speeds and cutting strategies to preserve surface quality and minimise material waste.
4. Conduct in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers and other metrology instruments; record measurements and correct machine offsets to maintain dimensional conformity.
5. Collaborate closely with design, hand-finishing and quality teams to deliver parts that meet artisanal finish standards and assembly requirements.
6. Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting; document production runs and non-conformances in line with workshop procedures.
7. Ensure strict adherence to safety, cleanliness and handling protocols for precious materials and sensitive tooling.

1. Technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, or CNC technology (or equivalent apprenticeship).
2. Demonstrable experience with CNC machine set-up and adjustment in high-precision manufacturing (preferably jewellery, watchmaking, or micro‑machining).
3. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerancing specifications.
4. Proven competence in precision measurement and quality-control techniques.
