- Serve as the technical reference for new product development and existing product lines, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and timeline specifications.
- Manage projects related to new product introductions, multisourcing, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee budget tracking and provide updates on project progress, addressing any obstacles with proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with the New Product team and jewelry experts to guide products from conception through to commercial launch.
- Draft specifications and risk analyses, participating in technical risk mitigation plans.
- Lead and validate technical development phases in collaboration with workshops.
- Propose and challenge technical solutions for design and manufacturing.
- Ensure consistency of new products with existing product lines.
- Compile and validate technical documentation.
- Manage multisourcing projects from initial planning to pre-series validation.
- Standardize products, components, and fittings, ensuring adherence to defined standards.
- Act as the primary contact for technical inquiries, managing technical documentation for products in development and existing lines.
- Lead continuous improvement projects related to internal operations and workshop collaborations.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a methods, production, or design engineer in jewelry, watchmaking, or a related field.
- Analytical mindset, meticulous, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Project-oriented, capable of thriving in a rapidly growing environment and managing associated challenges.
- Proactive, innovative, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CAD and PLM software.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
