Bottega Veneta Tailoring & Outerwear Product Development Intern

- Assist in all stages of the product development process for the Tailoring & Outerwear category, including material selection, construction techniques, and sizing specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the Design Team and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of product specifications.
- Participate in collection fittings to ensure that the final product meets the quality, fit, and aesthetic standards required by the brand.
- Support cost monitoring and assist in the negotiation process to ensure profitability based on the validated collection plan.
- Maintain accurate records of product development stages, including technical specs, materials used, and feedback from fitting sessions.
- Assist in managing timelines to ensure that product development milestones are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Product Development or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and tailoring techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with basic knowledge of product development software being a plus.
- Strong interest in fashion and a passion for tailoring and outerwear.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to changing priorities.
No specific prior experience required, but a strong interest in fashion and product development is essential.
Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Product Development or related fields, or equivalent experience.
