Bottega Veneta Tailoring & Outerwear Product Development Assistant

- Support the design team by assisting in the understanding and refinement of design concepts for the Ready-To-Wear Tailoring & Outerwear Collection.
- Assist in coordinating with suppliers to manage prototypes for tailoring and outerwear garments as directed by the Head of Tailoring and Outerwear Product Development.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, sample sewers, and other professionals to refine prototypes and ensure alignment with design expectations.
- Organize and participate in fitting sessions, aiding in the evaluation of garment fit and aesthetics.
- Ensure final samples are produced in accordance with design specifications and within the Collection Calendar timelines.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of design specifications, patterns, samples, and production details.
- Assist in creating and managing Bill of Materials (BOM) to support production accuracy and material sourcing.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in product development, preferably in tailoring or outerwear.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate across departments.
- Passion for fashion and a keen interest in tailoring and outerwear trends.
1-2 years of experience in product development, preferably in tailoring or outerwear.
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field.
