- Manage the receipt of goods, ensuring accurate barcode scanning and verification of quantity and quality against transport documents.
- Maintain organized and efficient storage of goods in the warehouse, ensuring easy identification and accessibility for sales staff.
- Monitor warehouse space and manage packaging disposal.
- Coordinate the movement of goods, including transfers to tailoring and dyeing departments and long-distance clients.
- Organize inter-store transfers and returns to vendors, preparing necessary documentation such as CITES forms and proformas.
- Conduct inventory management in collaboration with the Inventory Control Office, ensuring system accuracy and minimizing stock losses.
- Prepare merchandise for re-tagging following price changes.
- Track CITES items with proper documentation.
- Perform daily checks on sold material and stock levels, coordinating replenishment requests with the Merchandising Office.
- Interface with the Operations Office for packaging orders and manage orders from external suppliers.
- Facilitate product repairs before and after sale, adhering to company policies.
- Collaborate with Store and Assistant Store Managers on consignment procedures.
- Train sales staff on the use of operational systems like JDA/SAP for stock management.
- Proven experience in a similar stock management role.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent organizational skills with strategic thinking abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and logistics systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Service-oriented with a focus on customer loyalty.
- Flexibility, availability, and a team-oriented mindset.
Previous experience in a stock management or similar role within the luxury retail sector is required.
