1. Monitor the quality of leather raw materials for samples and production batches, preparing technical documentation accordingly.
2. Oversee the initial production batches based on available technical guidelines and through production chain monitoring.
3. Innovate and enhance the quality control process by managing challenges effectively and engaging suppliers for continuous process improvement.
4. Identify and resolve technical and quality-related issues, ensuring quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
5. Regularly interface with the purchasing department to ensure the management and monitoring of material deliveries and with the raw material industrialization area.
6. Identify and manage potential issues during the leather cutting phase directly at the laboratories.
7. Support the definition of material consumption pre- and post-production in collaboration with internal cutting and time and methods areas.

1. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the footwear industry.

1. Proficiency in footwear processes including pattern making, cutting, stitching, assembly, and finishing.
2. Strong computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Proficiency in English.
4. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
5. High flexibility and dynamism to thrive in dynamic and evolving business contexts.
6. Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and internationally.

A seasoned professional with 5-7 years of experience in the footwear industry, particularly in quality assurance roles.

High school diploma and/or technical course in leather goods and footwear.
