Bottega Veneta Shoes Quality Assurance Specialist

- Monitor the quality of leather raw materials for samples and production batches, preparing technical documentation accordingly.
- Oversee the initial production batches based on available technical guidelines and through production chain monitoring.
- Innovate and enhance the quality control process by managing challenges effectively and engaging suppliers for continuous process improvement.
- Identify and resolve technical and quality-related issues, ensuring quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
- Regularly interface with the purchasing department to ensure the management and monitoring of material deliveries and with the raw material industrialization area.
- Identify and manage potential issues during the leather cutting phase directly at the laboratories.
- Support the definition of material consumption pre- and post-production in collaboration with internal cutting and time and methods areas.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the footwear industry.
- Proficiency in footwear processes including pattern making, cutting, stitching, assembly, and finishing.
- Strong computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- High flexibility and dynamism to thrive in dynamic and evolving business contexts.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and internationally.
A seasoned professional with 5-7 years of experience in the footwear industry, particularly in quality assurance roles.
High school diploma and/or technical course in leather goods and footwear.
