Bottega Veneta Shoes Pattern Maker

- Develop style lines on the shoe last.
- Oversee the manual and CAD creation of base lasts and models for women's and men's prototypes and samples, following directives from the technical product development manager.
- Execute the correction of base patterns and ensure proper CAD development of patterns and subsequent prototype/sample completion.
- Supervise all phases of cutting, skiving, stitching, and assembling for prototype/sample/conformity pairs, addressing technical aspects and recording time and material consumption for each phase.
- Collaborate closely with the industrialization department to anticipate and manage potential industrialization and production issues, identifying the most suitable technical and economic processing methods to meet time and consumption targets.
- Manage the development of models for internally produced pairs in collaboration with the industrialization department.
- 7-10 years of experience in a structured luxury footwear production environment.
- Pattern maker diploma.
- Knowledge of various last types and autonomy in model design on lasts.
- Proficiency in footwear processes (pattern making, cutting, stitching, assembling, and finishing).
- Excellent command of CAD systems, preferably TESEO, with experience in model size development.
- Good knowledge of IT systems (management software and Office suite).
- Preferred proficiency in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with the style office and external suppliers.
- Precision and excellent communication skills.
- Dynamism and flexibility for managing prototyping and sampling phases.
- Willingness to travel within Italy and internationally.
A minimum of 7-10 years in luxury footwear production is required.
Pattern maker diploma.
