- Analyze material requirements using MRP systems and detailed forecast analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as demand planning, merchandising, and production planning.
- Work with the planning office to achieve finished product delivery objectives.
- Analyze finished product demand across various dimensions including priority and consumption.
- Translate demand management and production planning inputs into actionable objectives for the purchasing department.
- Assist in the development of the financial purchasing budget, including volumes, timing, prices, and inventory.
- Monitor and manage material obsolescence in collaboration with the Finance department.
- Interface with various company departments including material research, testing, intermediate phases, and quality control.
- Conduct quantitative analyses to support the Purchasing Manager.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of IT tools in collaboration with IT and Business Intelligence departments.
- Participate in or lead improvement projects and initiatives.
- Manage orders and work orders related to raw materials.
- Coordinate supplier follow-ups and schedule deliveries accurately.
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
- 3-5 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or demand planning roles.
- Proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of systems such as Stealth, PLM, and Qlik is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
3-5 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or demand planning roles is required.
Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
