Bottega Veneta Merchandising Manager

- Develop and execute strategic buying and merchandising plans to drive sales growth and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Monitor sales and sell-through rates, initiating business strategies to meet sales targets.
- Manage inventory, delivery, and re-order processes to optimize stock levels.
- Track stock movement and allocation to balance store needs with available offerings.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform buying decisions.
- Communicate trends, opportunities, and risks to key stakeholders, including GMM, Senior Management, and HQ.
- Analyze sales data and provide detailed reports to adjust buying strategies for optimal inventory levels and profitability.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of buyers and merchandisers, ensuring team success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand experience and achieve merchandising strategies.
- Partner with HQ Retail Merchandising team on strategies, sales analysis, and project execution.
- Provide product feedback and market needs to HQ, including strategic pricing and product requirements.
- Work with the retail training team to deliver seasonal product training and fashion trend information to staff.
- Support on-site events and manage ad-hoc tasks.
- Degree in a relevant field, preferably with advanced luxury education.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in fashion merchandising/buying roles with international luxury brands.
- Strong experience in Leather Goods, particularly in the WHBG category, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong fashion and market sense with solid high-end fashion buying experience for the Chinese market.
- Proven leadership and communication skills with a track record in team development and succession planning.
- Excellent presentation, planning, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under high pressure.
A minimum of 10 years in fashion merchandising or buying roles within international luxury brands, with significant experience in Leather Goods.
Degree in a relevant field, preferably with advanced luxury education.
