Bottega Veneta Merchandising Manager

- Develop and execute buying and merchandising strategies to drive sales growth and maximize market opportunities.
- Monitor sales and sell-through rates, initiating appropriate business strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Manage inventory, delivery, and re-order situations to optimize stock levels.
- Track stock movements and allocations to balance store needs with available offerings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform buying decisions.
- Communicate trends, opportunities, and risks to key stakeholders, including General Merchandise Managers, Senior Management, and Headquarters.
- Analyze sales data and provide detailed reports to adjust buying strategies for optimal inventory levels and profitability.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of buyers and merchandisers, ensuring their success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including retail, marketing, sales, and visual merchandising, to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
- Maintain effective communication with the HQ Retail Merchandising team on strategies, sales analysis, and project execution.
- Provide product feedback and market needs to the HQ Retail Merchandising team, including strategic pricing and product requirements.
- Work with the retail training team to provide seasonal product training and fashion trend information to front-line staff.
- Support on-site events and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Degree in a relevant subject, preferably with advanced luxury education.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a fashion merchandising/buying role with international fashion or luxury brand companies.
- Strong fashion and market sense with solid high-end fashion buying experience for the Chinese market.
- Proven leadership and communication skills with a track record in leading, coaching, and developing buying teams.
- Excellent presentation, planning, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under high pressure.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in fashion merchandising or buying roles within international fashion or luxury brand companies.
Degree in a relevant subject, preferably with advanced luxury education.
