- Research and develop sustainable and innovative leathers, focusing on metal-free options and ensuring manufacturability in line with design office inputs.
- Support in collecting qualitative and technical analyses of leathers, assessing feasibility, development timelines, and costs.
- Develop and technically oversee leather sample articles, adhering to technical sheets and addressing emerging issues by seeking technical solutions in collaboration with other departments and external entities.
- Oversee the development and color control of leathers.
- Conduct quality control of leather samples at suppliers in Italy and abroad, as well as internally.
- Communicate and share progress details with the team through meetings, preparation, and monitoring of files and reports.
- Interface with the Leather Goods Testing Office and Leather Goods Industrialization Office.
- Engage daily with the Style Office, Product Office, and Technical Area.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing industries within the leather goods or tanning sector.
- Excellent knowledge of high-end products and their characteristics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent planning skills and attention to detail.
- Teamwork aptitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
