- Conduct extensive creative research and source materials and components for leather goods.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Leather Goods Design team, Product Development team, Atelier, and Merchandising to develop successful collections.
- Work closely with other design team members to ensure cohesive collections within deadlines.
- Collaborate with technical teams on all aspects of fit.
- Oversee design boards, ensuring timely completion and adherence to calendar deadlines.
- Create and deliver product presentations.
- Minimum of 3 years of design experience in leather goods.
- Graduation from a Fashion Design School.
- Technical knowledge of leather goods design and product development processes.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional taste level and brand awareness.
- Strong sense of color and materials.
- Proficient sketching skills.
- Detail-oriented and rigorous.
- Fluency in English; Italian language skills are advantageous.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in leather goods design is required.
Degree from a Fashion Design School.
