Bottega Veneta Finance and Business Controlling Manager

1. Support the General Manager in monitoring retail performance in terms of sales and profitability for both actual and planning processes.
2. Prepare periodic management reports and provide financial analysis, particularly for capital investments and contract negotiations.
3. Coordinate with the region’s Finance Controller to ensure timely and accurate financial closure processes.
4. Drive the annual budget process for France & Monaco, including periodical budget revisions, in collaboration with the GM, Retail Managers, and central Finance team.
5. Serve as the main point of reference for Finance matters within the area and oversee the production of periodic monthly closures to ensure compliance with accounting principles.
6. Manage the P&L for the area and liaise with Retail and Store Managers on financial matters.
7. Support the General Manager and Legal department with lease management and oversight of the real estate portfolio in France and Monaco.
8. Prepare feasibility studies for new projects and present business plans to the Regional Management Team.
9. Collaborate with the Regional Finance team and other corporate offices for commentary collection and supporting documentation.
10. Coordinate with local Finance to ensure appropriate reporting, accounting systems, and internal control procedures are in place.
11. Assist the General Manager and HR team in preparing cost scenario simulations for negotiations with the employee representative body (CSE).
12. Contribute to the creation of business and financial presentations for sharing company performance and strategic updates with the CSE.

2. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and business controlling roles, preferably within the luxury fashion industry.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
