Bottega Veneta Finance and Business Controlling Manager

- Support the General Manager in monitoring retail performance in terms of sales and profitability for both actual and planning processes.
- Prepare periodic management reports and provide financial analysis, particularly for capital investments and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with the region’s Finance Controller to ensure timely and accurate financial closure processes.
- Drive the annual budget process for France & Monaco, including periodical budget revisions, in collaboration with the GM, Retail Managers, and central Finance team.
- Serve as the main point of reference for Finance matters within the area and oversee the production of periodic monthly closures to ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Manage the P&L for the area and liaise with Retail and Store Managers on financial matters.
- Support the General Manager and Legal department with lease management and oversight of the real estate portfolio in France and Monaco.
- Prepare feasibility studies for new projects and present business plans to the Regional Management Team.
- Collaborate with the Regional Finance team and other corporate offices for commentary collection and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with local Finance to ensure appropriate reporting, accounting systems, and internal control procedures are in place.
- Assist the General Manager and HR team in preparing cost scenario simulations for negotiations with the employee representative body (CSE).
- Contribute to the creation of business and financial presentations for sharing company performance and strategic updates with the CSE.
- Proven experience in finance and business controlling roles within the luxury fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and business controlling roles, preferably within the luxury fashion industry.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
