Bottega Veneta Assistant Planner

- Support the Merchandising Planning team during official forecast periods and prior to seasonal buys.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising Team to identify growth opportunities and address business challenges, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Prepare analyses and research to support the creation of store and department plans in collaboration with Retail, Merchandising, and Finance teams.
- Assist in developing markdown strategies that align with gross margin objectives, in collaboration with local and global finance teams.
- Communicate effectively with Worldwide Italy Offices on planning components related to the Merchandise Plan.
- Prepare analysis and quarterly reports for the Merchandising Team and update weekly business recaps.
- Update selling reports and provide historical recaps to analyze and communicate business performance.
- Analyze current trends and revise in-season plans for sales and profitability based on actual performance.
- Manage the Replenishment business, overseeing sales projections, assortment mix, and inventory flow.
- Analyze selling by model, fabric, color, and size for the replenishment program to provide feedback to the Worldwide team.
- Monitor weekly store inventory for the Replenishment business to ensure stock-to-sales maximization and achieve Global MOS targets.
- Support stores with follow-up on sales, sell-through, merchandise transfers, and reorders for replenishment styles.
- Manage stock levels to maximize inventory within stores through transfers and consolidations.
- Coordinate product for new store openings related to replenishment styles.
- Provide periodic reporting on business performance.
- Contribute recommendations and analysis to the Merchandising team related to driving long and short-term business goals.
- Develop, maintain, and update tools and reports to respond to business needs.
- At least 1-2 years of previous planning or allocating experience.
- Strong planning skills, including retail math and inventory flow.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, effective leadership skills, and outstanding organization and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills in a self-sufficient and resourceful manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal aptitude.
- Ability to work productively in a team environment while also working autonomously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
1-2 years of experience in planning or allocation within the retail or luxury fashion industry.
Salary range of $27.00-$29.00 per hour, plus overtime and commission eligibility.
