- Lead the Berluti Japan Retail team to maximize business and profit through strategic planning and effective retail operations.
- Act as a brand ambassador to enhance brand awareness and value in the Japanese men's luxury market.
- Develop the retail team through recruiting, coaching, training, and other development activities.
- Monitor sales results and KPIs, implementing necessary actions to achieve targets.
- Plan and maintain optimum stock levels and appropriate merchandising mix.
- Analyze P&L with the Finance team and take necessary actions.
- Suggest business development opportunities and implement actions in cooperation with other departments.
- Report sales results and issues to the Paris Office and seek support when necessary.
- Propose sales budgets and headcount plans in collaboration with Finance and HR.
- Plan strategic future store networks, including openings, relocations, and renewals.
- Review and optimize the retail organization in cooperation with HR.
- Retain, motivate, and develop Store Managers and retail staff.
- Upgrade service levels in stores to align with the brand image.
- Plan and implement CRM activities to promote brand awareness and sales.
- Negotiate with business partners and manage store promotions and events.
- Ensure compliance with company retail procedures and manage risk effectively.
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales with managerial responsibility or at least 5 years in a similar position in the retail industry
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities
- Proficient in sales analysis and budget management
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to foster relationships with department stores
