- Manage delivery schedules for finished product manufacturers and follow up for updates.
- Engage daily with manufacturers to resolve issues and monitor progress.
- Update and ensure consistency of schedules with production tracking dashboards, compiling information on material and component purchases.
- Conduct meetings with the finished product industrialization and production teams to track the validation of product series for 'Go Prod' with manufacturers.
- Maintain daily communication with the Italian warehouse, preparing and updating volume and timing data for managing receipts and stocks.
- Enter quantitative delivery data (packing list) into SAP.
- Prepare and lead weekly production meetings with industrialization, production, and quality teams.
- Travel to suppliers and manufacturers and participate in trade shows (e.g., Première Vision, Pitti).
- Ensure 'LIFE 360' and SEC (Social & Environmental Compliance) compliance of partner suppliers and manufacturers.
- Participate in CSR and compliance missions: audit, traceability, and certifications.
- Update KPIs and monthly performance tracking for purchases.
- Prepare necessary reports for activity management: service rates, delivery rates, supplier load evolution, and turnover evolution.
- Verify ERP information (supplier references, internal coding, composition, prices, minimums, delivery times, performance) of materials and components before order placement.
- Assess the feasibility of material and component scheduling to meet pre-purchase and Launch Plan Merchandising deadlines.
- Calculate material and component needs, manage pre-purchases before buying sessions, and handle additional purchases post-buying sessions.
- Negotiate final prices for materials and components and manage order placement with suppliers.
- Oversee and anticipate delivery schedules for materials and components, ensuring alignment with finished product production needs, and provide regular reporting.
- Verify pre-buying finished product nomenclatures with the category reference BE.
- Control and validate production samples of materials before supplier delivery.
- Maintain constant contact with fabric and accessory suppliers to support and anticipate corrective action needs.
- Coordinate material testing and compliance to ensure adherence to specifications, PRSL, and the Life 360 environmental program.
- Track end-of-season material and component remainders, analyze, validate, and close files in collaboration with Italian warehouse, production, BE, and finance teams.
- Degree from a business school or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production/purchasing roles.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Team spirit, autonomy, rigor, dynamism, and ability to manage priorities.
- Negotiation skills and analytical sensitivity.
- Proficiency in English and Italian.
- Proficiency in IT tools and SAP (Mastery of Office Suite / Advanced Excel / ERP system knowledge).
A minimum of 5 years in production or purchasing roles within the luxury fashion industry is required.
Degree from a business school or equivalent.
