Berluti Materials & Components Sourcing Assistant Intern
Berluti, the singular masculine Maison within the LVMH Group, was established in Paris in 1895. In 2005, the Maison expanded into leather goods, followed by a ready-to-wear collection in 2011. Berluti's innovative lifestyle offerings remain deeply rooted in its heritage, with a meticulous attention to detail and adherence to cutting and assembly techniques. The brand operates approximately 70 self-managed boutiques across Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and Asia, alongside around 30 franchised points of sale.
- Assist the Materials & Components Manager in the development of ready-to-wear collections.
- Monitor daily receipts of fabrics and accessories, recording pertinent information.
- Support the progression of collections through organization and dispatch of dyes, tracking shipments, and liaising with suppliers for technical sheets, pricing, and deadlines.
- Participate in the procurement and dispatch of press orders.
- Develop collection documents and sales support tools such as training books and brochures.
- Contribute to the archiving of materials and components.
- Cultivate relationships with internal teams (Creative Studio, Supply Chain) and external partners (manufacturers, suppliers).
- Enrollment in a fashion school, textile engineering program, or equivalent university course.
- Good knowledge of materials.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Sensitivity to the luxury and fashion industry.
- A minimum of six months of prior experience is required.
