Berluti Leather Goods Production Specialist
Berluti, the sole men's Maison within the LVMH Group, was established in Paris in 1895 by Italian Alessandro Berluti. - Craft high-quality leather goods, meticulously following technical specifications and patterns.
- Perform primary operations of preparation, sewing, and assembly, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Operate specific machinery for leather processing, such as flatbed, column, arm sewing machines, skivers, stampers, and splitting machines.
- Execute edge coloring and polishing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the production process.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace and equipment.
- Contribute to achieving production targets, adhering to quality standards and timelines.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in leather goods production within luxury industry companies.
- In-depth knowledge of sewing, preparation, and bench assembly techniques.
- Proficiency in using key machinery for leather processing.
- Comprehensive understanding of various types of leather and their treatments.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to new techniques and production processes.
- Knowledge of specific sewing techniques and different stages of leather goods processing.
- Competence in edge coloring execution.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in leather goods production is required.
Direct employment with the possibility of a permanent contract. Work shifts from Monday to Friday with daily hours from 7:00 to 14:15 and 14:15 to 21:30.
