Berluti Leather Goods Production Machinist
Berluti, the sole men's Maison within the LVMH Group, was established in Paris in 1895 and has flourished through four generations of the Berluti family, mastering the art of excellence and craftsmanship in footwear. The brand expanded its offerings with a leather goods collection in 2005 and a prêt-à-porter line in 2011. Today, Berluti's collections include bespoke and ready-to-wear clothing and footwear, alongside a wide range of accessories, all embodying an innovative lifestyle offering while staying true to the Berluti spirit. The Maison's distribution network comprises approximately 70 directly operated boutiques across Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and Asia, along with around 30 franchised points of sale.
- Produce high-quality leather goods by meticulously following technical specifications and patterns.
- Perform key operations such as preparation, sewing, and assembly, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Operate specific machinery for leather processing, including flatbed, column, and arm sewing machines, with a focus on edge binding using binders, skiving machines, stamping machines, and splitting machines.
- Execute edge coloring and brushing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the production process.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace and equipment.
- Contribute to achieving production targets while adhering to quality standards and timelines.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in luxury leather goods production.
- Excellent knowledge of sewing, preparation, and bench assembly techniques, including edge binding with binders.
- Proficiency in using key leather processing machinery.
- In-depth understanding of various leather types and their treatments.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to new techniques and production processes.
- Knowledge of specific sewing techniques and different stages of leather goods processing.
- Competence in edge coloring techniques.
- Technical proficiency in leather goods production machinery.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Flexibility and adaptability.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury leather goods production is required.
Direct employment with the possibility of a permanent contract. Work schedule includes daily shifts from Monday to Friday.
