Berluti Leather Goods Production Machinist
Berluti, the singular masculine Maison within the LVMH Group, was established in Paris in 1895. Berluti's distribution network comprises approximately 70 directly operated boutiques across Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and Asia, alongside around 30 franchised outlets with varying degrees of customization.
- Produce high-quality leather goods by meticulously following technical specifications and patterns.
- Perform key operations in preparation, sewing, and assembly, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Operate specific machinery for leather processing, including flatbed, column, and arm sewing machines, with a focus on edge binding, skiving, stamping, and splitting machines.
- Execute edge coloring and brushing.
- Resolve technical issues that may arise during the production process.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace and equipment.
- Contribute to achieving production targets while adhering to quality standards and timelines.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in luxury leather goods production.
- In-depth knowledge of sewing, preparation, and bench assembly techniques, including edge binding.
- Proficiency in operating key leather processing machinery.
- Comprehensive understanding of various leather types and their treatments.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to new techniques and production processes.
- Knowledge of specific sewing techniques and different stages of leather goods production.
- Competence in edge coloring techniques.
At least 5 years of experience in leather goods production within luxury industry settings.
Direct employment with the potential for a permanent contract. Work shifts from Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:00 to 14:15 and 14:15 to 21:30.
