- Plan and oversee the optimization of industrial prototypes for luxury leather goods.
- Evaluate and implement innovative process and product solutions.
- Modify patterns to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal leather goods departments and external suppliers to ensure compliance with industrialization standards.
- Conduct feasibility analyses for new products and processes, and collaborate on improving existing ones.
- Support the product development office in material evaluation, balancing stylistic and production needs.
- Manage the industrialization of production, proactively addressing any product defects.
- Plan industrialization activities necessary for production inputs.
- Address production requests from technical and design perspectives.
- Define tools and operations required for product optimization.
- Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Project Management departments to ensure smooth optimization processes.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in leather goods industrialization or extensive experience as a pattern maker/prototypist in the leather goods sector.
- Technical Diploma or Degree.
- Proficient in reading and modifying patterns and creating prototypes.
- In-depth understanding of production and quality processes in leather goods.
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental issue resolution.
- Problem-solving, negotiation, and flexibility skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English or French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically to suppliers.
At least 10 years of experience in leather goods industrialization or as a pattern maker/prototypist in the leather goods sector.
Technical Diploma or Degree.
