- Support the annual compensation review process in collaboration with the Head of HR.
- Contribute to the review of the Retail variable pay scheme, ensuring alignment with business needs and market competitiveness.
- Prepare consistent salary packages and secure necessary approvals.
- Lead salary and benefit surveys, providing analysis for best practices.
- Ensure HR practices and policies comply with company standards and legal requirements.
- Oversee benefit management and administration, including staff sales, discounts, and insurance.
- Manage monthly work attendance and payroll, ensuring data accuracy.
- Coordinate payroll-related tasks with the payroll vendor, including tax and government-related payments.
- Provide counseling and disciplinary strategies on employee relations issues, in collaboration with the Head of HR.
- Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts with various stakeholders.
- Manage annual HR accruals with the Finance team and review reports for HQ submissions.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for HR audits.
- Regularly review C&B and HR operations processes for efficiency and legal compliance.
- Lead HR systems management to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and Local Group C&B teams on initiatives and projects.
- University Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Compensation & Benefits role
- Fluency in Japanese
- Business-level English proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Japanese labor law
- Proactive and detail-oriented
- Accuracy and speed in administrative tasks
- Project management skills
- Hands-on and team player
- Can-do attitude
Minimum of 5 years in a Compensation & Benefits role.
University Degree
