Berluti Collection Merchandising Assistant Intern
Berluti, a distinguished French Maison under the LVMH Group, has been a paragon of masculine elegance since its inception in Paris in 1895. Over four generations, Berluti has mastered the art of shoemaking, leather craftsmanship, and patina, expanding its repertoire in 2005 to include leather goods and in 2011 to ready-to-wear collections. - Assist in the development of collection briefs, including key figures presentation and product strategy formulation.
- Conduct benchmarking and define retail pricing and margin strategies, preparing documents for validation sessions.
- Recommend detailed product function structures.
- Monitor collection development stages with the Studio and Development teams.
- Prepare collection documents and participate in the completion of the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
- Coordinate prototype/sample loans to internal departments and support various shooting coordination.
- Verify codifications in the internal tool 'bbop' and coordinate with the Development team for season activations.
- Prepare and present collections in the showroom, drafting sales tools, and completing collection management information in 'bbop'.
- Create and present the collection book during training sessions, detailing product benefits.
- Coordinate with the e-commerce team for piece availability and labeling.
- Prepare seasonal activity reports and the annual report.
- Enrollment in a business school or equivalent, with a specialization in fashion studies such as IFM.
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is required.
- Strong affinity for the luxury and men's fashion sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in the luxury fashion industry is required.
Currently enrolled in a business school or equivalent with a specialization in fashion studies.
Interns will receive comprehensive training to understand the history, values, and products of Berluti. The position offers the opportunity to develop privileged contacts with various stakeholders, including stylists, product developers, sales merchandising, and communication teams.
