Benefit Cosmetics Sales Development Manager

- Develop sales turnover in each store by achieving monthly and yearly targets.
- Set and monitor sales targets by region and store, implementing action plans as needed.
- Regularly visit stores with Field Supervisors, focusing on flagship locations.
- Ensure stores are consistently animated by Field Supervisors.
- Foster strong working relationships with retailer regional directors and store managers to enhance staff performance and drive commercial opportunities.
- Create engagement activities for both retailer and Benefit staff.
- Hire, orient, develop, and retain staff at all levels.
- Negotiate staffing levels based on productivity targets and trends.
- Lead and motivate the Benefit team by example.
- Conduct performance evaluations to drive individual improvement.
- Monitor performance of Beauty Consultants.
- Ensure compliance with company and store policies, including grooming and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with HQ to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure top SKUs are available.
- Execute in-store merchandising updates in collaboration with Field Supervisors.
- Liaise with the Merchandising team on specific issues such as damages or missing furniture.
- Negotiate animation plans and additional space with retailer managers.
- Develop a trained Field Supervisor and Retail staff through on-site and off-site training.
- Identify further training needs through performance evaluations.
- Maintain consistency and standards of the 8 Step Magic Selling Formula.
- Manage administrative tasks such as T&E reports and online booking coordination.
- Assist with PR events, training events, and retailer and staff events.
- 6-8 years of retail experience, including a minimum of 3 years in management.
- Experience in cosmetics preferred.
- Proven track record in sales and service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and analyze numbers.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to promote a fun and positive environment for customers and employees.
