Benefit Cosmetics Sales Development Manager

- Develop sales turnover in each store by achieving monthly and yearly targets.
- Set and monitor targets by region and store, implementing action plans as needed.
- Regularly visit stores with Field Supervisors, focusing on flagship locations.
- Ensure regular animation of stores by Field Supervisors.
- Build strong relationships with retailer regional directors and store managers to enhance staff performance and drive commercial opportunities.
- Create engagement activities for both retailer and Benefit staff.
- Hire, orient, develop, and retain staff at all levels.
- Negotiate staffing levels based on productivity targets and trends.
- Ensure all counters are staffed with appropriate personnel.
- Lead and motivate the Benefit team by example.
- Conduct performance evaluations to drive individual improvement.
- Monitor performance of Beauty consultants.
- Ensure compliance with company and store policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Collaborate with HQ to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure top SKUs are always available.
- Execute POSMs and merchandising updates in-store.
- Liaise with the merchandising regional team on specific issues.
- Negotiate animation plans and extra space with retailer managers.
- Provide training to Field Supervisors and retail staff.
- Identify further training needs through evaluations.
- Maintain consistency and standards of the 8 Step Magic Selling Formula.
- Manage administrative tasks including T&E reports and online booking coordination.
- Coordinate merchandising orders and translate materials as needed.
- Assist with PR, training, and retailer events.
- 6-8 years of retail experience, including a minimum of 3 years in management.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Experience in cosmetics preferred.
- Proven track record in sales and service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong numerical analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to promote a positive and fun environment for customers and employees.
- Passionate, fun, and tenacious attitude.
Minimum of 5 years in a relevant field, with significant management experience.
