Belmond Food & Beverage Service Trainee

- Attend and participate in a 400-hour blended training programme combining theoretical classes and practical workshops delivered by Belmond Academy and the Istituto dei Mestieri d’Eccellenza LVMH.
- Complete in-company training and a placement (stage) at a Belmond property in Italy or abroad, providing hands-on Food & Beverage service experience.
- Deliver attentive, personalised table and guest service in a luxury five‑star environment, including mise en place, order taking, service execution and bill handling under supervision.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene and uniform while following in-house procedures and service sequences.
- Participate in LVMH Master Classes, brand-focused visits and meetings to deepen understanding of luxury hospitality and guest experience.
- Demonstrate professional reliability, effective communication with guests and colleagues, and a proactive approach to learning and problem solving.
- Preferably in possession of a secondary school diploma (diploma di scuola media superiore).
- Open to unemployed, inactive candidates and those at the start of their professional career; maximum intake: 10 participants.
- Basic to good knowledge of English; willingness to follow the hospitality programme delivered in English.
- Basic familiarity with Food & Beverage tasks or prior short-term experience in hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong motivation, excellent interpersonal/communication skills, reliability, autonomy and result orientation.
- Willingness to relocate for the placement period to the Italian regions or international Belmond properties.

Entry-level — first professional experience welcomed; suitable for candidates with little or no prior work history who demonstrate strong motivation and basic hospitality knowledge.
