Balenciaga Sustainability Impact Intern
Balenciaga, a distinguished name in the luxury fashion industry, was founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917. Known for its avant-garde designs and high standards, the brand has been a part of the Kering Group since 2001. Kering is a global luxury group that manages the development of a series of renowned houses in fashion, leather goods, jewelry, and watches. Balenciaga continues to influence the fashion world with its innovative prêt-à-porter collections and successful leather goods, footwear, and accessories.
- Assist in the preparation of mandatory annual reports, including Kering environmental reporting, and collaborate with the finance controlling team to ensure audit readiness.
- Produce tailored reports and data analyses to support the brand’s decarbonization roadmap.
- Support the preparation and submission of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) declarations for products and packaging.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives for Balenciaga events, including data collection and reporting to relevant fashion bodies.
- Coordinate the global rollout of the Greener Retail Questionnaire and manage the Green Retail Certification program.
- Conduct regular store visits in Paris to support and monitor sustainability initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and assist in organizing internal sustainability-related events.
- Targeting a Master’s degree in communication and Sustainable Development – CSR.
- First internship experience in data analysis and/or sustainability specialization.
- Expertise in Excel and full mastery of PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Proficiency in English; Italian or French is a plus.
- High autonomy and team spirit.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Confirmed networking and relational skills.
First internship experience in a consulting firm or company with a focus on data analysis and/or sustainability.
Pursuing a Master’s degree in communication and Sustainable Development – CSR.
Available for a duration of 6 months as part of a paid internship.
