- Support Balenciaga Americas business in cost control, analysis, and planning across USA, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
- Conduct monthly closings and perform comprehensive analysis on P&L, including month-end review of store and corporate P&Ls.
- Prepare and distribute monthly cost reports to corporate partners, covering T&E, maintenance, facilities, store, and client event expenditures.
- Assist with the review of OPEX, monthly reclasses, and accruals.
- Generate ad hoc reporting as required.
- Collaborate with HR to analyze monthly staff cost actuals and trends versus plan.
- Engage with corporate business leaders to understand departmental expenses, challenge costs, and identify risks and savings opportunities on OPEX.
- Plan and submit corporate and store OPEX for AMER region budgets and forecast cycles.
- Master multiple accounting systems and sub-ledgers, including SAP, HFM, and Rubis.
- Compile reporting packages for month-end and budget cycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with retail experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP and HFM is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- High regard for confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with international colleagues.
A minimum of 5 years in a financial analysis role, preferably within the retail sector.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
The estimated salary range for this position in New York is $95,000 USD to $105,000 USD, subject to geographic differentials and individual qualifications.
