Balenciaga Senior Collection Merchandiser

- Define and implement the collection strategy, aligning with brand DNA, market trends, and consumer needs.
- Oversee the collection plan to ensure a balanced offering across categories, prices, volumes, and margins.
- Collaborate with creative teams to harmonize artistic vision with commercial viability.
- Conduct comprehensive monitoring of luxury trends, customer behaviors, and competitor performance.
- Analyze previous collections' results to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Provide strategic insights to guide future product and collection development.
- Ensure collaboration between coordination, development, production, retail, and wholesale departments to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Participate in key stages such as showrooms and collection presentations.
- Supervise junior merchandising team members, fostering skill development and guiding missions.
- Monitor collection performance post-launch and recommend adjustments to maximize impact.
- Implement tools and processes to enhance data analysis for informed decision-making.
- Prepare strategic reports with insights on sales, trends, and opportunities.
- Solid understanding of the luxury/fashion market and key players.
- Proven ability to manage various projects at different development stages.
- Fluency in English and French; Italian is a plus.
- Strong analytical ability, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), PLM, and InDesign.
Extensive experience in luxury fashion merchandising, with a focus on ready-to-wear collections.
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
