- Achieve sales targets and contribute to store profitability.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures of the store.
- Ensure the stockroom is organized for efficient merchandise access.
- Assist management in daily store operations.
- Balance strengths in sales, operations, merchandising, and personnel management.
- Maintain effective communication with departments, stores, colleagues, and staff.
- Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and appropriately.
- Adhere to and enforce the store operations manual and suggest updates as needed.
- Implement and enforce sustainability policies locally and globally.
- Partner with the Stock Associate/Operations Manager/Sales Team to minimize store shrinkage through sound operational execution.
- Ensure cash registers and safe are functioning properly and maintain cash accuracy with timely bank deposits.
- Assist with visual display and merchandising according to company standards.
- Communicate visual standards information from management to the team.
- Oversee daily cleaning and maintenance of the store's interior and exterior.
- Maintain high standards for store fixtures, shelving, carpeting, lighting, and supplies.
- Ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within retail or fashion companies.
- Proven ability to drive results in a selling role, exceeding individual and store goals.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen with a passion for the fashion industry.
- Strategic vision to develop the business and achieve high personal performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and team collaboration.
A minimum of three years in a similar retail or fashion role is required.
