- Manage print sample trafficking for the North, Central, and South American markets.
- Collaborate directly with headquarters on all sample needs.
- Oversee seasonal PR sample orders.
- Supervise press credit distribution, archiving, and reporting.
- Administer showroom management, data management tools, inventory, clipping, and contact databases.
- Monitor and analyze earned media in print and digital formats.
- Communicate brand image activities internally across corporate and retail teams.
- Train and manage PR assistants, coordinators, and interns.
- Ensure timely sample returns and create accurate loan records.
- Place global shipments and maintain the Press Archive.
- Support the creation of the AMER PR strategy.
- Assist with event needs, including list creation and organizing attendance for main collection shows.
- Identify PR opportunities surrounding event activities.
- Manage seasonal showroom refreshes with the Visual Merchandising team.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key editors.
- Manage PR photography for new store openings in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising and Image teams.
- Handle HQ image requests, including samples, photo approvals, and store photos.
- Support the AMER Merch Department by managing the Monthly Merch Credit Report and understanding merch priorities.
- Support AMER PR and Communications team VIP efforts.
- 5+ years of experience in fashion public relations.
- Excellent editorial contacts at major national publications.
- Established connections with PR and marketing agencies.
- Strong experience in sample trafficking, managing interns and assistants, and coordinating press days.
- Understanding of the luxury environment and general media and VIP landscape.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated skills in communication and public relations activities.
- Strong relationships with media titles at the market level and above.
- Ability to inspire through change and deal with ambiguity.
- Flexibility and open-mindedness.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically.
A minimum of 5 years in fashion public relations, with a proven track record of managing sample trafficking and maintaining strong editorial contacts.
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $65,000 USD to $75,000 USD.
