Balenciaga Product Manager - Jersey

- Lead the development of jersey collections for both men's and women's lines, ensuring alignment with the studio's vision, quality standards, pricing, and timelines.
- Collaborate with the studio to launch collections, providing technical insights to translate creative concepts into tangible products.
- Conduct material research with manufacturers, manage material orders, lab dips, and dye follow-ups, ensuring adherence to deadlines, pricing, and development costs.
- Communicate effectively with manufacturers to ensure understanding and feasibility of designs.
- Proactively oversee the development of models, treatments, and prints with manufacturers, maintaining the development schedule and issuing alerts as needed.
- Ensure compliance of pieces, manage conformity updates, and handle special orders.
- Facilitate clear communication of information with the studio throughout the development process and coordinate with other departments (workshop, fabrics, supplies, merchandising) for model development.
- Ensure precise handover to the standardization team and oversee hybrid pieces across product categories.
- Update PLM system with model references, materials, nomenclatures, reception dates, pricing, and non-conformity comments.
- Maintain daily updates of development tracking tools and monitor budget estimates and actuals, including billing control.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in product development with technical knowledge of products.
- Autonomous, positive, and organized professional with a team-oriented mindset.
- Bilingual in English with proficiency in technical vocabulary.
