- Define and implement Dunhill's Visual Merchandising strategy across all distribution channels in Japan.
- Ensure consistency and high visual standards representative of the brand image.
- Collaborate with Merchandisers to align visual merchandising with key investments and business drivers.
- Create visually compelling communication tools, including project recaps and photo reports for global HQ.
- Partner with Regional Commercial GM on planning store openings, renovations, and high-profile projects.
- Develop business by leveraging visual merchandising to drive sales.
- Build collaborative relationships with retail partners, display vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Manage budget, timing, and scheduling for merchandising tools in partnership with Executive Leadership.
- Identify and improve efficiencies and value engineering within visual merchandising processes.
- Oversee development, training, and execution of merchandising guidelines for Market Japan.
- Lead regional VM's in developing new door merchandising layouts and schematics.
- Monitor and evaluate VM initiatives in terms of sales, feasibility, and profitability.
- Conduct routine market visits to assess and monitor VM initiatives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Visual team members to achieve consistent excellence.
- Respect Dunhill Brand standards in grooming and behaviors.
- 8+ years of retail industry Visual Merchandising experience, preferably in luxury fashion.
- BS or BA in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Store Design, or Visual Merchandising.
- Fluency in English and Japanese.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Inspiring leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in technical drawings, 3D renderings, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup, Vectorworks, and Rhino.
A minimum of 8 years in visual merchandising within the retail industry, with a focus on luxury fashion and multi-channel environments.
BS or BA in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Store Design, or Visual Merchandising.
