1. Support the creative development of collections in alignment with Alaïa's quality, style, and values.
2. Collaborate with the Design Director to construct the Knitwear Collection.
3. Work closely with the Artistic Director, Design Director, and peers within the studio.
4. Monitor the progress of various categories and projects, ensuring completion and regular reporting to the Design Director.
5. Manage the creation and realization of models for the knitwear category.
6. Participate in research and development phases.
7. Create 3D prototypes and propose new volumes, finishes, and details in harmony with the brand's identity.
8. Simulate looks and models using Photoshop.
9. Collaborate with the studio, development team, and workshops throughout the creation and development process.
10. Oversee the launch and development of models in the workshop, leveraging workshop expertise.
11. Ensure models are completed to the finishing stage, considering material-model compatibility and overall coherence within categories.
12. Prepare and participate in fittings, ensuring model compliance during technical fittings.
13. Actively participate in look sessions.
14. Ensure the presentation and updating of work documents for effective information transmission (boards, collection plans, Fabric to Sketch, etc.).
15. Create technical sketches.
16. Manage a team of Junior Designers.

1. 5 to 7 years of experience in a luxury fashion house, specifically in the knitwear product category.
2. Strong product sensitivity.

3. Dynamic with excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to manage unforeseen circumstances and maintain rigor.
5. Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.

5 to 7 years of experience in luxury fashion, focusing on knitwear.

Frequent travel within Europe.
