Alaïa Assistant — Coordination, Ready-to-Wear Development (Alternance)

- Support the development coordination team across the ready‑to‑wear collection lifecycle, from first samples to production sign‑off.
- Follow up on sample requests and deliveries, liaising with ateliers, external suppliers and internal departments to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain and update technical documentation: spec sheets, measurement charts, tech packs and fit reports.
- Enter and manage product data in the PLM system and Excel trackers; ensure data accuracy across styles and seasons.
- Attend fittings and internal reviews to record comments, circulate action points and track resolution of fit and construction issues.
- Coordinate trim and material approvals, and monitor sample quality against technical requirements.
- Prepare presentation materials and status reports for design and development meetings.
- Contribute to cross‑functional communication between design, sourcing, quality and production to support timely decision‑making.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in fashion design, product development, fashion business, textile engineering or equivalent (work‑study/alternance eligible).
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise tasks in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and understanding of garment construction and fit.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; comfortable liaising with ateliers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive problem‑solver, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a small, multidisciplinary team.

Previous internship or work‑study experience in product development, technical office, sample room or a similar role preferred; typically 0–12 months relevant experience appropriate for an alternance placement.
Enrolled in a recognised post‑secondary programme in fashion/product development, textile engineering, fashion business or a related discipline (alternance/work‑study track).
