- Conduct comprehensive quality checks on packaging components and finished products at supplier and co-packer facilities.
- Identify and document quality deviations, non-conformances, and potential issues, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Monitor and verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure suppliers and co-packers adhere to industry best practices and standards, particularly concerning social and environmental aspects.
- Maintain full compliance with the signed code of conduct and all relevant ethical and compliance standards.
- Assess supplier adherence to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
- Report breaches or non-compliance issues to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Planning, and Product Development teams to evaluate new suppliers, monitor existing supplier performance, and manage supplier non-conformance issues.
- Work with the Regulatory team to ensure compliance of packaging materials and production processes with national and international industry standards and regulations.
- Proven experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or packaging development, preferably within the luxury goods, cosmetics, or fragrance industry.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO and GMP.
- Experience with supplier auditing and managing non-conformances and CAPA activities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate with external partners.
- Fluency in English.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field is required.
The position offers the opportunity to work remotely and requires frequent travel to supplier sites in Northern and Central Italy.
