Christian Dior Toxicologist

- Ensure product safety for consumers by adhering to timelines, costs, and procedures while fostering a favorable work environment in line with quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental objectives.
- Gather toxicological information on chemical ingredients and raw materials from specialized databases, suppliers, and internal data.
- Conduct relevant toxicological tests and impurity analyses to complete evaluation dossiers.
- Draft toxicological profiles for each chemical ingredient and raw material in compliance with European cosmetic regulation No. 1223/2009.
- Provide preliminary opinions on the use of new cosmetic materials.
- Maintain scientific vigilance on the toxicological profiles of chemical ingredients used in cosmetics.
- Participate in harmonization meetings.
- Scientific education at BAC +5 level in toxicology, chemistry, biology, pharmacy, veterinary science, or medicine.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the cosmetic industry.
- Knowledge of current cosmetic regulations is essential.
- Organizational prowess and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in an agile team setting.
- Proficiency in technical English, both spoken and written.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within the cosmetic industry is required.
Scientific education at BAC +5 level in toxicology, chemistry, biology, pharmacy, veterinary science, or medicine.
