This six-month fixed-term contract role leads the technical development of new products for Hermès tableware, jewellery accessories, and home décor brands, from feasibility assessment through production transfer. The position bridges technical expertise with collaborative cross-functional coordination, ensuring regulatory compliance, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness whilst identifying creative solutions to manufacturing and design challenges. The successful candidate will support production and quality teams on-site whilst maintaining active partnerships with product development, artistic direction, and operations across Hermès métiers.

Graduate Tanner – Young Tannery Programme
Hermès Cuirs Précieux invites final-year engineering students to join the Graduate Tanner programme, an 18-month accelerated career pathway encompassing three sequential missions across leading French and Italian tanneries. Participants will develop mastery in leather transformation processes—including tanning, dyeing, and finishing—while gaining exposure to quality assurance, research and development, health and safety, and corporate social responsibility. The programme concludes with permanent placement opportunities within one of seven specialised tanneries or related divisions.
