Hermès seeks a dedicated leather artisan to join one of its manufacturing workshops in the French Alps, where the company produces exceptional handcrafted leather goods—handbags, small leather accessories, and related items—from conception to completion. The successful candidate will work within a human-scaled atelier (fewer than 300 staff) under the mentorship of experienced artisans, learning rigorous techniques whilst adhering to exacting quality standards and production timelines. Following an initial 6-month professionalization contract and 12-month apprenticeship, candidates demonstrating mastery will transition to permanent employment as certified Leather Goods Artisans, working on-site at the Aix-les-Bains facility.
