Zenith — La Chaux-de-Fonds: Metrologist (Junior) full-time on-site role in Quality Movement at Zenith, Swiss watch manufacture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, create and maintain measurement programs for 3D coordinate measuring machines (notably Zeiss, OGP and Keyence).
- Manage the measurement equipment fleet, including preventive and corrective maintenance and routine verification/calibration of instruments.
- Ensure the reliability, repeatability and reproducibility of implemented measurement processes and contribute to continuous improvement of metrology standards.
- Perform in-depth metrological analyses, interpret measurement results and provide actionable feedback to production and quality teams.
- Provide technical support to production teams on measurement-related issues and define metrological needs in collaboration with the Quality Movement Manager.
Qualifications
- CFC in metrology, BTS/DUT in Physical Measurements (Mesures Physiques) or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent command of conventional measurement instruments (caliper, micrometer, dial indicator/comparator).
- Practical knowledge or first-hand experience with 3D measurement machines (Zeiss, Keyence, OGP) is a strong asset.
- Methodical, rigorous approach with strong attention to detail and documented problem‑solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate cross-functionally and work autonomously when required.
- Adaptability to evolving technical and industrial environments.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in metrology, quality control or dimensional inspection—preferably within watchmaking or precision manufacturing.
Education
CFC in metrology, BTS/DUT Mesures Physiques or equivalent vocational/technical qualification.

This position is based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, within easy reach of Neuchâtel.
