About Zenith
Zenith is a Swiss haute horlogerie Manufacture and a maison within the LVMH group, renowned for technical watchmaking and in-house production. The Manufacture operates in the Neuchâtel region and combines traditional craftsmanship with industrial processes to service global luxury markets.
Zenith seeks an Indirect Buyer in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland to manage procurement of services and indirect categories for the Manufacture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the purchasing strategy for assigned indirect spend categories and service providers.
- Execute the full procurement lifecycle autonomously: market consultation, negotiation, selection and contractualisation.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance across quality, cost, delivery and CSR dimensions; conduct and animate annual business reviews with key partners.
- Participate in CAPEX analyses for machinery and industrial investments to secure best-value decisions.
- Contribute to the supplier audit strategy and analyse audit findings for indirect suppliers.
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to purchasing procedures to stabilise and professionalise the organisation.
- Drive cost-optimisation initiatives in close collaboration with internal clients (Operations, Commercial, Marketing) and leverage synergies with the LVMH Group.
Qualifications
- Higher education degree (engineering or university-level) in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in indirect purchasing, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced command of English (indispensable).
- Strong experience with ERP tools—notably ProConcept or SAP—and proficient use of Pack Office.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills, supplier performance management and experience with supplier audits.
- Analytical mindset with excellent synthesis capabilities; organised, proactive and able to handle competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work transversally and federate stakeholders.
