Zenith in La Chaux-de-Fonds seeks a Case Fitting and Routing Operator. Permanent, on-site role requiring 5+ years' watchmaking assembly experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform case fitting (emboîtage) to specification, respecting quality standards and production cadence.
- Operate across routing (aiguillage) positions to ensure smooth flow and optimized line balance.
- Inspect finished pieces for conformity, accurately detect and report defects, and execute corrective actions when required.
- Maintain production traceability and complete required documentation to ensure compliance with internal quality systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce defects and streamline processes.
- Work in strict adherence to safety, cleanliness and horological handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable, significant experience in emboîtage and/or aiguillage within watchmaking production.
- Exceptional visual acuity, manual dexterity and meticulous attention to detail.
- Autonomous, rigorous approach with a consistent record of delivering to tight tolerances and deadlines.
- Strong team orientation and proven ability to integrate into collaborative production teams.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in casing, assembly or routing roles within watchmaking or high-precision micro-assembly manufacturing.
Education
Vocational qualification in watchmaking or industrial assembly (or equivalent demonstrable professional experience).
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with easy access to Neuchâtel.
