Zenith Assembly Department Manager – La Chaux-de-Fonds. Lead watchmaking assembly operations in this production management role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all assembly department operations, including watches, movements, and component production at various stages (T0, T1, T2, T3)
  • Develop and implement management policies that empower and develop team members
  • Ensure adequate capacity and workload balancing to meet customer demand requirements
  • Collaborate with Methods and Workshop Services to drive industrialization and production optimization
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Technical Bureaus, Industrialization, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to achieve industrial objectives
  • Represent the assembly department through all quality assurance processes, including deviations, non-conformity tracking, technical modifications, and product improvements
  • Guarantee adherence to production schedules and quality standards while building the future of the workshop
  • Drive process improvements and organizational enhancements within the context of brand transformation and development initiatives

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Production Management or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on production management experience in a transformation context
  • Technical expertise in watchmaking or related manufacturing sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple organizational levels
  • Results-oriented mindset with customer-centric focus

Experience
