Zenith in La Chaux‑de‑Fonds seeks an Assembly & Routing Operator (watchmaking). Full‑time role focused on emboîtage and aiguillage.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform emboîtage (movement casing) operations to specification while maintaining production cadence and quality standards.
- Operate on aiguillage (routing/hand‑fitting) stations, ensuring versatility across multiple posts to optimize workflow.
- Inspect finished parts and assemblies to detect defects and verify conformity with technical and aesthetic criteria.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield, reduce rework and streamline assembly processes.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and respect clean‑room/production hygiene and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' demonstrable experience in emboîtage, aiguillage or equivalent watch assembly roles.
- Vocational qualification in watchmaking or equivalent technical training preferred.
- Exceptional manual dexterity, fine motor control and a sustained eye for detail.
- Autonomous, rigorous working style with the ability to meet deadlines and strict quality standards.
- Strong team orientation and the capacity to collaborate with assembly, quality and engineering teams.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in watch assembly, emboîtage and/or aiguillage with proven ability to work to tight tolerances and production rhythms.
Education
Vocational qualification in watchmaking (or equivalent technical/apprenticeship training) preferred; equivalent on‑the‑job experience accepted.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with easy access to Neuchâtel.
