Zegna seeks a Store Manager in Jeddah to lead store operations across sales, merchandising, customer service, inventory and staff development, with responsibility for achieving business targets and maintaining the brand’s market image. The role is permanent and requires 5 to 7 years’ experience in high-end fashion, preferably in direct sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the store’s overall operations, including merchandising, sales, customer service, staff development and daily administration, to support effective operations, achieve business goals and strengthen the company’s market image.
- Manage daily store operations, review prior-day sales, take proactive steps to meet store targets and monitor sales KPIs against budget.
- Monitor customer-service performance, ensuring customers are welcomed courteously and receive assistance with information, repairs and alterations.
- Guide, coach and train sales staff in customer-service practices, product knowledge and market and competitor intelligence through ongoing in-store training.
- Resolve customer issues and maintain accurate customer records through the Amber Loyalty program.
- Organize the store layout and ambience; merchandise products according to company and brand specifications; use window and visual displays to enhance appeal; maintain cleanliness and hygiene; and replenish stock daily.
- Verify stock at the beginning and end of each shift, replenish by season and size, conduct a full stock count at least twice a year, and monitor compliance with stock-transfer procedures to maintain optimum availability of the latest items.
- Report slow- and fast-moving items to buyers monthly.
- Supervise staff grooming, conduct during business hours, product knowledge and customer service, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and resolve IT system errors as required.
- Continuously coach and motivate staff, develop and mentor employees, identify training needs, and monitor individual progress within the team.
- Hold daily store huddles to keep teams informed of relevant business updates.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline, with tertiary qualifications in sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English is essential; knowledge of other languages, including Arabic or Italian, is advantageous.
- Pleasant personality and good grooming.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Ability to take ownership of the business.
