Zegna is seeking a Senior IT Category Manager for its Group Indirect Procurement team in Milan. The role leads end-to-end IT sourcing and supplier management, shapes category strategies, and partners with business and control functions to deliver value and manage risk; the position is permanent, with a base salary of €50,000–€60,000.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing for IT categories, including RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection, negotiation and contracting.
• Support the development and execution of Group IT category strategies in coordination with IT leadership.
• Negotiate agreements for software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, hardware, telecom and IT services.
• Identify savings, cost avoidance and value creation opportunities through demand challenge, benchmarking and supplier competition.
• Manage key IT vendor relationships, performance reviews, renewals and issue resolution.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Cybersecurity, Privacy and IT teams to address contractual, compliance and risk requirements.
• Ensure adoption of Group Procurement Guidelines, P2P processes and procurement tools, including SAP Ariba and Vendor Portal.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or vendor management, preferably with solid exposure to IT categories in international and matrix organizations.
• Skilled in procurement for software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, hardware, telecom and/or IT professional services.
• Strong understanding of IT contracts, licensing models, service levels, renewals and supplier performance management.
• Structured, analytical and business-oriented, with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear commercial strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
