Zegna is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician for its Machinery & Equipment Servicing team in Oleggio. The role includes on-the-job training in mechanical and electrical maintenance of production machinery, spare-parts inventory support, and digital recording of interventions; the permanent contract level will reflect experience and training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete on-the-job training in the cutting department to develop proficiency and autonomy in routine, preventive, and corrective mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery.
- Support the Supervisor with management of the workshop spare-parts inventory.
- Digitally record completed maintenance interventions.
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience.
- Diploma as an electronic/electrotechnical or mechanical technician.
- Strong motivation to pursue a maintenance career in a manufacturing environment.
- Good theoretical knowledge of electronics, electrotechnics, and/or mechanics.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience as a maintenance technician or in technical assistance services, even brief and in other contexts or fields, is an advantage.
- Pneumatics skills, including the ability to read pneumatic diagrams, are an advantage.
- Certified training in electrical or electrotechnical fields is an advantage.
- Flexibility, autonomy, problem-solving aptitude, and interpersonal and teamwork skills.
