Saint Laurent seeks a Wholesale Intern in New York, NY to support wholesale reporting, showroom preparation and sample management. $17/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the VP of Wholesale with day-to-day wholesale operations and administrative tasks.
- Prepare and maintain regular commercial reporting, including weekly style-selling reports, daily sales reports, weekly on-hand inventories and door-by-account analysis.
- Track purchase orders and update shipping/logistics logs on a weekly basis.
- Manage and maintain sample inventory, including showroom samples and return authorizations.
- Assist in market and showroom preparation, showroom presentation and order checking.
- Conduct store visits to monitor product placement and the competitive landscape.
- Produce competitive-analysis reports and client buy books; review reporting and highlight key findings and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous wholesale internship experience is mandatory.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including creation and management of pivot tables and lookup formulas.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Availability to work on-site a minimum of 2–3 days per week in New York.
- Exposure to sample-tracking and return-authorization processes is a plus.
