Saint Laurent Store Director role in Shanghai IFC. Lead retail operations, drive sales performance, and manage a luxury boutique team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all-day floor presence to demonstrate sales leadership and cultivate VIC/VIP customer relationships
- Establish quantitative and qualitative sales goals; analyze daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to drive performance against P&L targets
- Implement action plans defined by headquarters and ensure accountability at store level
- Provide high-quality feedback and reporting to headquarters; alert senior management to local market events and competitive activity
- Monitor market and fashion trends; communicate relevant intelligence to store staff
- Recruit and develop top talent in partnership with the Head of Retail and HR department
- Coach staff and conduct individual performance appraisals; create professional development plans that foster continuous growth
- Maintain brand standards and oversee clienteling approach to ensure exceptional customer experience
- Supervise store atmosphere, window displays, and layout alignment with visual merchandising guidelines
- Build and manage relationships with key local influencers and high-value clients to drive loyalty and repeat business
- Handle all administrative and accounting responsibilities at store level
- Manage inventory operations and warehouse stock in collaboration with back-office operations and merchandising teams
- Ensure safety protocols, loss prevention measures, and asset protection for products and materials
- Optimize warehouse efficiency to align stock availability with sales potential
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of successful managerial experience in a luxury retail or fashion environment, with responsibility for managing approximately 10 or more team members
- Demonstrated expertise in luxury goods sales and high-end customer relationship management
- Strong sensitivity to customer experience, loyalty building, and VIP engagement
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and persuasiveness
- Advanced organizational and precision-focused mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese
