Saint Laurent Store Director role in Shanghai. Lead boutique operations, manage P&L, build VIP relationships, and drive luxury retail excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead boutique operations and drive business development through strategic customer acquisition and VIP/VIC relationship cultivation
- Manage P&L and implement action plans to achieve quantitative and qualitative sales targets; analyze KPIs and conduct monthly and yearly performance assessments
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing sales staff; conduct appraisals and develop professional growth plans with a coaching approach
- Oversee clienteling strategies and ensure adherence to brand qualitative standards and service excellence protocols
- Maintain store atmosphere and visual merchandising in line with corporate guidelines and Saint Laurent brand image
- Monitor local market trends, competitive landscape, and fashion industry developments; communicate insights to Headquarters
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, HR, sustainability, and inventory management requirements; manage warehouse stock and coordinate with Back Office Operations
- Handle administrative, accounting, and planning responsibilities; authorize resource allocation and workload management
- Guarantee exceptional customer experience including welcome, treatment, and resolution of customer complaints
- Implement security measures and asset protection protocols for products and valuable materials
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of successful experience in a managerial position managing approximately 10 or more people
- Significant experience in luxury goods sales or retail management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and persuasiveness
- High sensitivity to customer experience and loyalty
- Product and fashion sensitivity with strong market awareness
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
